Reservation
Check the terms and conditions for reserving foals/pregnancies
1. When a mare becomes pregnant, the interested party is notified. We introduce the mare and the stallion, and you can visit us at any time to meet the future mother. You can learn about her character, and if the pregnancy is early, you can also ride the mare.
2. Once the decision to reserve the pregnancy is made, we agree verbally that the foal is reserved. We then determine whether the sex of the foal matters to the future owner. If so, they declare whether they want a filly or a colt. At this stage, we do not require any payment.
3. Birth of the foal. On the day of birth, the person who reserved the foal is informed. They can come to us, and together we can perform imprinting on the foal.
4. We expect a final purchase decision within 7 days after birth. If the future owner does not change their mind and the foal meets their expectations, they have another 7 days to make a 10% deposit of the agreed price via bank transfer. At this stage, no contract is signed. It is enough that the deposit transfer title includes the foal’s name and the birth date.
5. During the 6 months that the foal spends with its mother, the buyer can visit as many times as they want and train the foal for life with humans under our supervision. During this time, we also take care of obtaining all necessary documents for the foal, including DNA testing, a certificate, Polish PZHK passport, and health book. As breeders, we choose the foal’s name, but the buyer can choose a stable name. The costs of the documents are covered by us. We feed the foal according to our experience but can also feed it according to the buyer’s recommendations. Veterinary costs, such as deworming or any necessary treatment, are covered by us.
6. If anything happens to the foal before it reaches 6 months of age that could affect its planned future use, the buyer has the right to cancel the purchase, or the price can be renegotiated. In case of cancellation, the buyer is entitled to a full refund of the deposit.
7. After weaning and completing 6 months, we sign the sales contract, settle the remaining 90% of the purchase price, and the new owner can pick up the horse.
8. If we have the possibility at that time, the foal can remain with us for a specified time, e.g., for weaning. In this case, the owner signs a boarding contract with us and pays the monthly maintenance fee for the horse in our stable.
9. The buyer is responsible for the costs of transferring the horse to the TWHBEA and PZHK registers. The buyer is also responsible for transport costs to the new home.
